Accessible Tourism Expert & Social Entrepreneur

Clair Crowley
Accessible Tourism Expert
Award winning social entrepreneur, Clair Crowley leveraged her lived experience with disability and a thirst for travel to start Push Adventures in 2016.

Push Adventures worked with over 100 operators and industry representatives. Including ATDW, the Fringe Festival, RDA Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu, the Department of Environment and Water and Zoos SA, and many small to medium sized businesses.

Clair's valuable contribution to the industry was recognized through winning a competitive AusTrade tender in 2021 to deliver a National Accessible Tourism Mentoring Project to the top 10 Australian tourism regions, enabling more people to enjoy the Australian tourism experience. An outcome of this project was the development of the WELCOME Framework.
How I can support your tourism business
Current Projects
1
Circular Impact Coach
The Circular Impact Accelerator is an intensive 6-week program which brings together an array of local and national expertise and content to create a powerful circular economy social enterprise design course for people who have an idea to pursue and need support to explore their concept further.
You will learn the fundamentals of circular economy and social enterprise business model design and development, whilst also gaining access to new networks, potential customers/collaborators and investment to bring your venture to life.
2
Regenerative Tourism Project
The South Australian Tourism Commission and the Tourism Industry Council of SA seek to shift the fundamental narrative about the nature of tourism in South Australia, the shift is inspired by regenerative principles, whereby SATC/TICSA envision a future where tourism is a ‘force for good’. Through a co-design approach bringing together operators, leaders and experts in regeneration, inclusion and tourism to collaborate to build a positive future.
3
Rope Recycling
Ocean Kind is an early stage social enterprise working to recycle fishing ropes to keep the plastic in circulation and out of landfill.
